Made in collaboration with Pentagram’s partner Emily Oberman, I designed this poster as part of the #CombatCovid PSA campaign presented by The Poster House and Print Magazine. This poster along with others created by artists and designers ran in Times Square for the months of April and May 2020, and on smaller billboards across the country.
If anyone had to walk around Times Square during the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, they would think to be in a dream or a post-apocalyptic movie. Clues of such a vision might have been given by the completely deserted streets, and the empty billboards. It was the second instance that inspired The Poster House to take the PSA campaign to the next level and in collaboration with Times Square Arts, and For Freedoms, filling almost all Times Square with #Combatcovid posters.
