Information Graphic Visionaries is a book series that celebrates spectacular data visualization creators through original research, new writing, and visual catalogs. The series is structured to balance both text and images, with an editorial design that functions as a neutral container for the diverse historical content. The series’ color design system was created to be expanded beyond the first three volumes. Each volume features a Pantone pairing that is visible on both the cover (half dust jacket) and the interior (monochromatic images) of the book. The fabric cover paired with the gold foil title serves as an homage to the publications in which the original artifacts were featured. Rosart by Camelot was chosen as text typeface for its robust and classical qualities, while Monument Grotesk, with its sturdy and compact skeleton, was used for titling across the publications.
